If I ruled the World I normally try not to be a ranter on this blog, but sometimes it just can't be avoided. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people in dance classes try to teach the other students. I just want to shake them and scream "If you were qualified to be giving out advice you would be the EFFIN teacher." Seriously, what kind of person has the nerve to go to a class and then criticize everyone else?

This used to happen to me all the time when I was a teacher. Some dummy who didn't realize I was the teacher was always saying stuff like "You're not following correctly." I enjoyed watching them eat it when they realized I was the teacher. I also got into a big fight with this lady who had the nerve to point to her 15 year old dance partner and shout "He's not doing it right, he needs help!" across a room of 50 people. Freakin A. Like being a teenager isn't humiliating enough in the first place.

Anyways, why I am complaining about this? Oh yeah, today Arnold and I started taking Argentine tango classes. And this old fart(incidentally a woman playing lead for fun) decided she would pick on me the whole awesome 5 minutes we were dancing together. She was actually really rude in her criticism too, like I was annoooooooooying her with my terrible beginning tango skills.

Of course she totally bit it as a dancer. The ones who criticize always suck.

Is this a weird pet peeve? What are your "nails on a chalkboard-can barely restrain myself" pet peeves.
