I've always prided myself on being a very good sleeper. The kind of person you hate. The one who hits the pillow and instantaneously sleeps, even if there is a car alarm going off outside. I've been known to brag quite often "Seriously, I can sleep anywhere, anytime. I could probably sit down on the floor and sleep right now!" But the good times are over and for the past two weeks I've had insomnia. How could this be happening? Last night, I was so awake. I actually got up and STUDIED LINGUISTICS for my Masters Degree Exit exams.
This is desperate. No rational person is awake enough to study linguistics at midnight. If this doesn't stop I'll be translating words from Latin to Spanish in attempt to will myself to sleep.
