I read an unexpectedly wonderful book yesterday "Wishful Drinking" by Carrie Fisher. It was everything I like in a summer book: short, funny and interesting. I think that playing Princess Leia alone would probably be enough fodder for an entertaining memoir but she is also all of the following: the product of "hollywood in-breeding", bi-polar, a recovering addict, an accomplished writer(four novels and several screenplays) and wicked, crazy -funny. She has a million weird hollywood anecdotes, like when Cary Grant called her to have a anti-drug intervention or explanations of why George Lucas says there is no underwear in space. After reading this I wish that she was either my aunt or my next door neighbor. For now, I'll have to add her to my collection of imaginary Hollywood friends.
